Lego Difference Engine

Andrew Carol has built a Lego version of Babbage's Difference Engine. Found via Geek Press.

Of course, afficianados of such things know that Danny Hillis and friends created a tic-tac-toe playing computer from Tinkertoys when Danny was an undergrad at MIT.

A recent link of the day at www.userfriendly.org was of a lego pinball machine, fully functional, scores and everything.

That would be this Lego pinball machine? Man, that's pretty amazing -- functional coin slot, tilt mechanism, flippers, extra balls, the works.
